Graduation at Edinburgh Castle
Last night met my eldest daughter Zoe had her Masters graduation. Due to Covid etc it was held at Edinburgh Castle. It was a great occasion. Here are some photos-
The 'tartan suit' you refer to is a University of Edinburgh Tartan edge on the gentlemans gown. This tartan is registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans.
Congrats to Zoe on her achievement. My daughter just passed her Masters dissertation and is in the revisions stage. She expects to get her MSc this fall but in a much less spectacular location. Is that Mons Meg with Zoe in one of the photos?
Congratulations, and all the best! A fine place for it. I saw the Edinburgh Tattoo there one year. The entire trip was inspired by GM Fraser's description in his classic McAuslan stories.
Congratulations to Zoe- you must be so proud Alan. Cheers. KEV.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great location for it. And a proud moment.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the tartan suit that bloke’s wearing though 😁
