On Thursday l flew to London City Airport. It was a fascinating flight coming in over the sea, seeing the Thames defences and eventually flying over The Shard prior to landing. I visited the London Mithraeum as well as having a good wander about. Friday saw me visiting the British Museum and Saturday sees me at a wargaming event dedicated to gaming with 54mm figures.
Sounds like a few days well spent ....some nice images but none if the 54mm wargaming event?? Next post perhaps......

DeleteNever been to the Mithraeum. The company I used to work for had an office in the building (since demolished) above the temple.
ReplyDeleteIf I’ve oriented myself correctly, in that last picture you were probably above Bob Cordery’s neck of the woods.
Well worth a visit. If I’d known I would have given Bob a wave.
DeleteEnjoy the Woking weekend - I look forward to seeing pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThe Mithraeum is on my 'to do' list.

DeleteLooks like fun. I always enjoy flying in low enough to be able to recognize the buildings and landscape.
