Away

 Back last night from a brief visit to York- one night and with my middle daughter.

    Lovely City, York!!
    I was there during a motorcycle tour in the summer of 2002. I was at the Railway museum there too. Thanks for sharing!!

      Sounds lovely. Is there an equivalent city in Norway? It terms of history, museums and charm.

      Not exactly where it's all located on one place. We don't have any towns that old. I'm from the oldest town in Norway which is Tønsberg from 871. There are several of charming places in Norway, but they're kind of different. -Like Ålesund where I visited my son a couple of weeks ago are famous for it collection of Jugend style buildings after a big city fire in 1904. Museums are located all over the country, and the Railway Museum is located at Hamar, which is not very historical or 'charming'.

    One of the nicest places in the country. And blessed with the railway museum. There's still a model shop in York as well, near Monk Bar.
