Getting Toy Soldiers ready for The Portable Colonial Wargame etc.

Today I retreated to the shed to paint up some old toys soldiers for a game of TPCW. I like the idea of  taking old forgotten figures and using them be it in old school or more up to date rules. I could easily have got a couple of boxes of Armies in a Plastic which would have served very well but I preferred the road less traveled. Here are some Timpo etc on the painting table-

Here, they are at the end of the day having been pva glued with their French Foreign Legion opponents.
