and Away

Got the bus at 07:20, was in St Andrews at 08.40 and by the sea by 09:09. A lovely day out.

The toastiest made here are superb, well worth seeking out.

  3. A nice excursion. Can you still go down the besieger's mine in St Andrew's?
Our trip, long ago, was memorable for the banners which said, "all the Caddys are on strike", and I thought I'd come home.

  4. Looks lovely.. I haven't been in St Andrew's in nearly 50 years! We're heading up that way later in the summer for a break so I think there will be a lot of beach walks coming up!

    1. You will love it, weather permitting. However it is still beautiful in inclement weather.

  6. Lovely pictures... a nice place to visit. I have fond childhood memories of being at the beach with on holiday visits to see my mother's family.

  10. I’d miss the sea too . I am very blessed here. The sea , locally, is just a short bus ride away too.
