Yesterday, the last day of the April was the warmest yet and what a joy to feel the sun.
Yesterday began with an enjoyable walk along leafy lanes and stream , then through housing to my local big garden centre ( the chain run by a house elf ) where l enjoyed a read etc in the sun. A most pleasant experience. Plants , seeds and sundries were got.
On the way back l popped into WHS and got the new WI . I had been looking out for it as I was keen to see the 10mm freebie Celts. The figures looked great and so l purchased the magazine.
I managed to finish these MLS Ostmerk cavalry which have painted up really well. They have been patiently awaiting their uniforms for ages. The seeds were sown, the plants ( trailing fushias) planted, some weeds weeded and I even managed to spring clean the pond. An evening meal was taken in the garden too. A good day!🌞
That'll be summer over then! Sounds like a blissful day. I've been resisting the Warlord Epic Celts and Romans etc after getting suckered in by the ECW version (but they do look nice!)
