Played another game over Zoom this afternoon. It was Very British Civil War in 28mm , my Swedes ( fighting for and with the Anglican League) against the Liverpool Free State. A close and exciting game ensued in which we battled for control of the village. I won after an enjoyable few hours gaming. Here are some pictures of the game and the rules used-
I'd like to know more about the Zoom part of the game, as I'm hoping to experiment with it myself.
ReplyDeleteTwo of us play while a third hosts. The host has one camera on a tripod giving a fixed aerial battlefield view. He also has a phone on a wee tripod which is moved around the table to highlight certain areas and to show a detailed view where necessary It works really well indeed and is most effective in allowing strategic and tactical views. Zoom gaming has really helped in these strange days and I would recommend it to anyone. It can be fiddly to set up and technical gremlins are often out and about but perseverance succeeds.
