Neo retro news
Saw this today and thought you might find it interesting-
Oh dear! The arrival of these figures has rather thrown a spanner into the works! They are lovely figures AND I WANT TO BUY AND PAINT SOME! They will work well with my PW rules and will lend themselves to making a reality of an interwar project I’ve had planned for years.
Delighted that you long planned for project will come to fruition. Portable Wargame came to my mind too along with Paul’s forthcoming interwar Funny Little Wars rules. Alan
Ronnie you don’t see reds under the bed but Jacobites by the jacuzzi:) Incidentally the vbcw source book on Scotland has late 30s Jacobites in it ! Alan
I'm following Mark Copplestone's Instagram account about his neo retro toy soldiers and I'm quite impressed with the design of the miniatures and his wonderful pictures ... Cheers, Karl
I've been aware of the concept for a while and all I can say is that I WANT ALL OF THEM. Terrific style of figures and the inter-war is of real interest to me with several forces in a couple of scales already. So no harm in having them in another scale (!)
Interesting, indeed! As a bonus, I never knew Northstar published a magazine. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWin, win then.
