Up Dobbies ( garden centre not house elf) for breakfast this morning and got these in the sale-
A figure for general 54mm use, an arbour with fencing and spare wreaths to add a Christmas touch to my houses and a winter backdrop. All came to under ten pounds , I am well pleased.
Looks like bargain.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly was!

Nice additions Alan - I was in a cafe attached to a building/DIY mega store a few weeks back with a gaming mate Chris and on the way out we saw all sorts of stuff designed for gardens that I thought would have been useful in future Pulp games - of course, I didn't buy any of it - no doubt next time I am in there, it will all be gone - really should strike while the iron is hot!
ReplyDeleteStriking when the iron is hot is essential. I missed out on a seventy pound reduced to less than twenty beautiful wooden chess board as I hummed and hawed the other week.

That is a nice wee haul and you are right about striking when the iron is hot, I have missed out on too much to mention when humming and hawing.
ReplyDeleteA nice wee haul indeed!

Good buy there - very useful.
ReplyDeleteMost useful I think!

Aha! Another target practice NPC non player character to avoid hitting (or not) with a carelessly aimed snowball?
ReplyDeleteExactly my thoughts on the matter!
