Fornovo 1495

 I had a most enjoyable Zoom game last night, hosted by Jon Freitag. He was very patient with a newbie to Basic Impetus like myself and is a most gracious host.


Overall it was a most enjoyable evening with my Italian allies against the French. My dice throwing and tactical sense were not as one might wish! I do hope to get invited again…
Inspired by last night l look these out for a wee read-
They have languished long at the bottom of a pile of reading material by the bed, they will enjoy the light of day at last…

    Alan, yesterday’s game was great fun and very happy that you could join into the session. Too bad about the result but there will be other opportunities to redeem yourself if you wish to try remote gaming again. Good to see BI coming out of your unread rules pile. Thank you for playing.

      Most enjoyable Jon. I quite fancy trying the ancients too. I know more about the period. The High Gothic 15th century esp Burgundian Wars is one of my particular favourites too.

      Chris - your 'worst dice roller of the year' title was severely endangered. I think Mark, one of the two Frenchmen, rolled more hits than the three of us Italians put together! Still a good game in very enjoyable company. Join my campaign to make scores of 1 or 2 hits in BI. ;-)
