Norwegian uniforms- experimental and otherwise
I am greatly indebted to Roger ( from https://modelrailsandwargames.blogspot.com/) for the following photos and for popping into the museum to take some of them. Thank you !
Now to think about how to replicate in 54mm by means of conversions…
Useful photos. I have the uniform plate shown but forget in which book it is found. In 15mm, I use WWI Austrian infantry as a proxy for WWII Norwegians.
Agree! - I use Hät's 1:72 scale WW1 Austrians for Norwegians, as they pretty close. -Just too bad noen of them have a Madsen LMG. Do you have any photos of your proxies at your blog?
There was an experimental British uniform developed in the early 1930’s but wasn’t adopted. Battle dress was a little later. Here is a link to some pictures.
I'm happy you found something useful. I'm looking forward to see your conversions too. Are you using them in a "could have been" battle against the Swedes in 1905?
