Norwegian uniforms- experimental and otherwise

I am greatly indebted to Roger ( from   https://modelrailsandwargames.blogspot.com/)  for the following photos and for popping into the museum to take some of them. Thank you !

Now to think about how to replicate in 54mm by means of conversions…

  1. Useful photos. I have the uniform plate shown but forget in which book it is found. In 15mm, I use WWI Austrian infantry as a proxy for WWII Norwegians.

    1. Agree! - I use Hät's 1:72 scale WW1 Austrians for Norwegians, as they pretty close. -Just too bad noen of them have a Madsen LMG. Do you have any photos of your proxies at your blog?

  2. There was an experimental British uniform developed in the early 1930’s but wasn’t adopted. Battle dress was a little later. Here is a link to some pictures.

  4. I'm happy you found something useful. I'm looking forward to see your conversions too. Are you using them in a "could have been" battle against the Swedes in 1905?
