Yesterday’s game
28mm, DBM, Late Romans v Saxons. My friend’s figures, mainly Wargames Foundry.
I was one of the Roman commanders. We lost. Terrific figures, haven’t been on the table for ages. Nice to see them getting an outing and some exercise.
This looks just my cup of tea. The fortifications look good and the troops just right though I'm not so sure about the rule choice as it's not a version I've used. Such a collection deserves some fresh air rather than sitting on the shelf. Stephen
Indeed, very good to get a dormant collection back onto the table.
ReplyDeleteSo it is.

They certainly are nice looking armies - shame you lost!
ReplyDeleteI don’t mind losing if the game and company are fun.

They certainly deserve an outing, far more often. Can bear to change rules and learn another set 😞
