Only a paper,sorry rebel moon.

I watched “ Rebel Moon “ this week. I was originally drawn in by the etched armour look on the weapons, armour and the robot. This sort of detail-

I liked that sort of attention to detail. The film has a Star Wars , Warhammer 40k vibe to it. Here is a wee article on it-
I enjoyed the world building but wasn’t completely bowled over by the film. What do you think?

  1. I liked it to a point. Felt a bit like Magnificent 7 in Space.

  2. I have the Magnificent Space 7, sorry, I have Rebel Moon saved for a rainy or frosty day. The Vanity Fair article / photos / interview was curiously much like the SFX magazine one. I can see how this was first pitched at Disney / George Lucas / Star Wars.

Another Star Wars movie with dark haired space princess and space Nazi villains. When do we get a Ginger Space Princess or a film exploring life on the Dark Side against those pesky hopefilled rebels?

BTW In case Disney / Lucas / Netflix etc are reading this, the film and gaming rights for Close Little Space Wars (Star Wars via HG Wells and Donald Featherstone) are negotiable and still available for gaming, merchandising and film spin offs.

  3. I felt it was a mix of Star Wars and 'The Hobbit'. Seems like it's going to be more film from the franchise, but I'm not going to watch them

  4. It all seemed a bit of a scrap book of other things but I'll probably watch part 2.
