The gentlemen have assembled to train, to shoot and to handle pike. Thanks to My Lord Lacey Cotta ( and his well thumbed book) they are ready for war.
I fancied painting up a few figures having added some bows and quivers to some a Minifigs pikemen. I will need to have a think about how they will work under the rules. A fun project of a forgotten chapter in the annals of war.
That Airfix pub has graced many tabletops in many conflicts over the years .
ReplyDeleteCan’t go wrong with such a splendid building can you?
DeleteI would happily be a local at an Airfix pub.

ReplyDeleteNice. I had that officer figure 40+ years ago—he's a gunner IIRC. There's a great charm to old Minifigs. They were the real deal way back when and still produce great memories. I think if they were more available now, I'd be tempted to do a project using them. However, ordering Minifigs in the 21st century is pretty dodgy.
