In Albion
There is a great deal of conversing occurring in Albion. Many feel the recent Coronation lacked pomp and circumstance. Some are even thinking of doing something about it…
Love shiny knights...especially in jousting armour. There are some great pictures knocking about of medieval pageants held in the early 20th century .
ReplyDeleteI must have a look online for such photos…
DeleteIs the jousting knight on horseback Peter Young from your 1st April post / link?
ReplyDeleteIf only…
DeleteIs the knight meant to be the Sovereign's Champion? (took on the coronation reference)
ReplyDeleteA great suggestion.
DeleteRoyal pageantry generally involves anachronistic clothing and processes...so why not a medieval joust to mark the Coronation.....?
ReplyDeleteExcellent suggestion too.
