Here is the forum post that began this-
https://littlewarsrevisited.boards.net/thread/905/trees-hedges
Brian drew, Warbases manufactured and I made them up today. Here are some “work in progress” photos and 54mm/28mm figures in the scenery on a grid -
Nice - they really have that stylised feel about that works so well with a grid system.
ReplyDeleteI do like the old school vibe
DeleteNice useful bits.
ReplyDelete(I like your drying rack, too - ha ha)
Indeed! Very useful drying rack at the moment.
DeleteWhat scale are the trees? I might have to get some.
ReplyDelete75mm Jennifer. Go to the forum link mentioned in my post for updates re size etc.
DeleteIlike them a lot, they look really usefull.
ReplyDeleteGood value too.
DeleteNice -you have been busy - a real production line !
ReplyDeleteKeeps me out of mischief, sorry the freezing garden.
DeleteThe terrain works well with both the guided tabletop and your 54mm figures particularly.
ReplyDeleteIt is even better than I had hoped for .
DeleteA smart uk alternative for tree grids to the Bold Frontiers 3D Card trees from Australia.
ReplyDeleteAnd cheaper postage too!
DeleteReally nice.... really really nice. I may have to get some of those. I reall like 2d scenery and would be tempted to ask Warbases for some cottages too (I've always wanted a 2d Barrow Downs, Shire and Bree for my Minifigs ME figures).
ReplyDelete"2d Barrow Downs, Shire and Bree" - nice idea!
DeleteExciting idea!!!
DeleteLovely scenery!
ReplyDeleteWorks well , I am pleased with it.
DeleteThey look just the ticket to go with your 54mm old school toy soldiers!
ReplyDeleteJust the ticket indeed, not to mention those 40mm semi flats…
DeleteWell done Alan, great looking and very useful terrain indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteSleek, minimal, and pleasing to the eye! I think it’s great for gridded games.
ReplyDeleteQuite agree.
ReplyDeleteDid you scale yours up from Brian’s. They seem larger against your soldiers.
