  1. A small boy’s dream! I remember seeing one of these shows on TV. Was never lucky enough to go to one.

  2. Went to Scarborough on holiday for many years in the 60's and 70's as a kid and the highlight of the holiday was going to watch Naval Warfare at Peasholm Park.

    1. Do you remember the park lit by nightlights at night too?

    2. Do you recall the park illuminated at night with many lights in coloured lights in glass jars fixed to wooden structures in shapes like peacocks?

  3. Saw it a few years ago - still going strong. This year it's on from 22nd July to 6th September, Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 3pm. When I first saw it it was only on on alternative weekends.

  4. Gosh - that brings back many memories of family holidays in Scarborough in the 1960s. Loved going to see the show in Peasholm Park. I'm glad to hear it still happens too!

    Cheers,

    David.

    2. I'm not sure we saw the park at night; I certainly can't summon up any memories of it like that. A pity; I would like to have seen it!

      Cheers,

      David.
