Eagerly anticipating
I have watched ( and rewatched) the trailers, listened to analysis, recapped on the Lore and now the day has come! The Rings of Power is finally here, can’t wait…
Watched it first thing this morning , I like it - a visual feast ! although I can understand the Tolkien purists starting frothing at the mouth . Looking forward to seeing more .
You're not alone. We look forward to seeing if this can live up to the hopes pinned on it.

Ooh! I’ll have to watch that tonight. Make use of the Margravina’s Amazon account.

Well what did you think?

I have no access but I'll be interested to hear what people think...
ReplyDeleteCheers,
David.
Worth getting access or popping round to a friend David imho.

Really enjoyed the first episode and if time allows will watch part 2 this evening.
ReplyDeleteI put aside my Tolkien purist hat after the Elves of Lothlorien arrived at Helm's Deep. It an adaptation not a recreation.
The diversity in this great and having Galadriel as a lead really works at this point - interested to see what comes in future episodes/series.
Cheers, Ross
Quite agree!

Know almost nothing about it and have heard pretty bad reports - but if I've already got the service it's probably worth a watch.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth a watch and don’t listen to everything folk say about it.

I watched the first two episodes this weekend - I was a little apprehensive (as a Tolkien fan) but in fact enjoyed them very much!
