A moving ceremony today. Even the RAF chaps marched well! Has anyone here heard of a King's crown and a Queen's crown? The crown above , and on the coffin today, is what I remember as a 'King's' crown. The 'Queen's' crown being more bulbous. Either things have changed or, rather more likely, my memory is faulty.
It was a King's crown on her coffin - her father's - but given our dearth of Queen's over the years I am no longer sure that the shape of the crown is significant. Thanks for the help.

In the UK there are 7 crowns in total.
DeleteI'm sure if you google them you will get a full description.

Either Boy Scouts or British Army but it was a lifetime ago.
DeleteNice way to mark the last stage of Her Majesty's passing. I am not sure about the King or Queen crown, though.
