Further Airfix..
Today’s pictures, hope you enjoy them. Definitely some sets here I had forgotten-
Lovely toys! I have very fond memories of battles for the Roman Fort.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite, wish I still had it.
DeleteI hope they re-release all of the forts again soon. I missed the most recent reissue of Fort Sahara a few years back.
ReplyDeleteI missed that reissue too, must keep my eye more on the ball.
DeleteExcellent stuff! That Fort Sahara was the most magical thing in my book. I don’t know why but it appealed the most.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly the 1/32nd sets were the model for the later issues of the HO/OO sets. At least for the German infantry, 8th Army and DAK.
Thanks nice again for the memories.
Wish I had kept hold of my Fort Sahara !.
ReplyDeleteNever had it, wish I had.
DeleteThanks for sharing. Happy days!
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, indeed they were.
DeleteFort Sahara and Sherwood Castle were my favourites.
ReplyDeleteThe Roman Fort was mine and the ww2 one with the pillbox and gun which fired.
