Go East

Wee trip to St Andrews cut short by the arrival of rain..

A deserted beach with few visitors due to the weather.
Before hand we asked the guy serving our table about the size of the pancakes , he wildly underestimated hence the arrival of portions neither of us could finish.

Dramatic sky sound to be replaced with black clouds approaching from all sides.
An inviting path leading straight from the beach to housing.
Interesting old timber at the side of the river near where it flows into the sea.

  3. Looks a lovely place for a walk. What do you think the old timber 'wall' was for?
Not seen a stack of pancakes like that since holidaying in the US many years ago.

  4. A lovely place indeed. I think the old timber was to keep the bank subsidence in check I wondered or part of an old jetty.
