Wild thing, you make my heart sing…

 Or to be more accurate Wild Man. Been working on these figures today-


This splendid set of two figures is based on this-
“ The fight in the forest” by Hans Burgkmair.
They were a joy to paint and are lovely miniatures. The armoured figure is 28mm with the Wild man being larger.

Wild men pop up in lots of art -


Including the Danish Coat of Arms as below-

      Wild, he looks absolutely livid ... a great pair of figures and what a superb adornment to the Danish coat of arms ... a change from ‘our’ familiar fantastical Lion and Unicorn.
