and Away
Got the bus at 07:20, was in St Andrews at 08.40 and by the sea by 09:09. A lovely day out.
The toastiest made here are superb, well worth seeking out.
A nice excursion. Can you still go down the besieger's mine in St Andrew's? Our trip, long ago, was memorable for the banners which said, "all the Caddys are on strike", and I thought I'd come home. Stephen Caddy
Looks lovely.. I haven't been in St Andrew's in nearly 50 years! We're heading up that way later in the summer for a break so I think there will be a lot of beach walks coming up!
Lovely day out, indeed!
ReplyDeleteA grand day out

ReplyDeleteLovely photos Alan - enjoy the nice weather!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures... a nice place to visit. I have fond childhood memories of being at the beach with on holiday visits to see my mother's family.
ReplyDeleteA grand day out.
ReplyDeleteOh I do like to be beside the sea-side!
ReplyDeleteOh how I miss the sea. A two hour drive for me unfortunately. Enjoy!
