Wind and wuthering or the Perils of Penedredfel

The wild winds and rain yesterday blew the station over not to mention those working there . At least the rain cleaned things up a bit
The sorry state of Penedredfel Station resulting from my daughter’s splendid efforts to scrub the slabs.

In other news the engine remains out of action due to fibrous plant material on the line now jammed in the cogs linking the locomotive power to the wheels.

  1. Alan, I'd be happy to attempt an overhaul if you send me the loco.

  3. The perils of garden railways - bad weather; my smaller buildings usually get blown over and in very windy days 'go for a walk'. Hoping for better weather so I can check, repair & repaint my buildings.

I clean my track before a running session, so far nothing has gummed up the works of one of my locos.
