Game
This is one of my father’s game from his youth. I played it against him when l was a boy but remember nothing of it. Does anyone recognise it?
I will probably try it solo over the coming weeks…
I've never seen this game or something similar to it earlier. The boar it self resembles 'Stratego' and it gives a vibe of 'Portable Wargame' with paper 'top-downs'. This is a very nice legacy after your father and it must be good memories playing it with him when you was kid.
I remember the Waddington's game of the same name. It's on Amazon for £28. Some differences though it may have been to sold to them at a later date

ReplyDeleteNever heard of this game before. A quick search on BGG shows this is a game from 1935. Great find!
ReplyDeleteAn interesting looking game and board; this game is printed by Wills and Hepworth of Loughborough also produced the Ladybird Books!
