Heads up

First of all a heads up to a sale on at Aviation and Military Press. Got these at bargain prices-

Fascinating book full of potential model railway ideas too…

Who can resist a military cycling, in any period?

The amazingly cheap prices paid for the above books. A bargain.

In other matters , the heads I ordered from Antony at Imperial Miniatures arrived today-

Crisp castings , good service and quick delivery.
Some Austro Hungarians getting the heads up yesterday afternoon.

A quite drink and read in the garden after an enjoyable but busy day.

  1. Those heads worked good on those Airfix bodies. I think Austrian heads with the 'Cap' can be used if converting to Norwegian WW2 soldiers too.
Target range railways would be interesting to model, but would have limited operation potential. As a 'micro' perhaps.

    1. Hmm interesting re Norwegians. I am quite pleased how the figures have turned out. I am doing it very simply indeed, head swaps only and nor carving away at the equipment. They are toy soldiers not scale models after all. The target range railways would make a fine wee project.
