Last night saw another zoom game hosted by Jon, this time set in Sumer. A most enjoyable time was had by all. Here is a screenshot-
I attempted to battle for my Lugal, Stephen against our foes. If you want to know what happened l am sure Jon will post an account very soon..This morning, inspired by last night, I rebased ( finally I hear you say) my New Kingdom Egyptians. I have gone for BIG BASES-
These l will use with Big Base DBA, Neil Thomas, Basic Impetus and hopefully some home grown rules. I will let the glue dry properly before finishing the bases, possibly just paint, possibly ballast , we will see…
The Egyptians look very nice on their new bigger bases!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am very pleased with them so far.

Very happy to provide a bit of inspiration for your Great Rebasing Project. Yesterday's game was a very fun contest.
ReplyDeleteInspiration and fun, what more could one ask?

Excellent stuff Alan. Just how big are those bases?
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug. They are the Basic Impeus size used by Jon .

Oh. And Sand, you need to add Sand. Right. Off to print off a Sumerian Chariot...
ReplyDeleteSand it is then. How did the three D printing go ?

I've dug out my Egyptians for small DBA in 15mm. We'll see if a game results. Nice to see some Lamming. I remember how impressed I was with Lamming figures when they first came out. I still have a number in various armies.

Glad to hear that re DBA. Lamming are great and available to buy newly cast from here- https://www.lammingminiatures.com/
DeleteP.s all mine are original though but I will probably need to but some reinforcements/ opposition.

They look good on the big bases. And less to move.
