Wandering off the path 2
The figures arrived today:
They are 1/32 Chintoys. I hope to begin them at the weekend. Off now to find some visuals for painting references.
Ooh.....lovely figures. I have some of their ACW and Napoleonics. You'll have to build a ziggurat of similar. There may be some South American ornaments that would be good for terrain.
Checking these figures on Stads Stuff out they look really interesting and very unusual - good luck with the colour schemes and research http://www.stadsstuff.com/?p=12102
Alan- This looks to be a great Project for you. Being 1/32nd is fabulous - Conquistadors and Aztecs are very interesting and colorful. When I was in Primary School I did a shoe box Diorama of Christopher Columbus with card cut out figures and ships colored in - it was great... and I'd expect you'l get the same buzz out of Chintoys 1/32nd figures. Cheers. KEV.

ReplyDeleteSome structures will be made and perhaps some aquarium scenery bought.

ReplyDeleteI’ll second that.
DeleteThey look very interesting figures .
ReplyDeleteI am pleased with them.
DeleteLooking forward to this. You should be able to find a multitude of pics on the web for the Aztecs.
ReplyDeleteAn embarrassment of riches picture wise.
DeleteJust the thing for an expedition through the garden one fine summer's day.
ReplyDeleteI hadn’t thought of alfresco gaming but you have got me thinking...
