Fantasy Quest solo game.

I conducted a quest for treasure using these rules:
https://pampersandp.blogspot.com/p/the-quests-of-brin-barbarian.html
My barbarian and thief were trying to steal treasure from the bad guys as seen in the photo below-
Game was on a 40mm grid using  54mm plastic pound store figures. Many thanks to Man of Tin for the barbarian and thief, the others were pound store knights bought by me. It was a tense game( and great fun) ending in the failure of our heroes to get the treasure. Yet of course there is always next time...

  1. Nice idea using 54mm figures; they really suit a skirmish (a la Featherstone). How did you find the rules?

    1. Really enjoyed them. I will be interested to see what happens when magic is added. Do you have any ideas currently?

    2. There were spells in the original Eric Knowles version but it was very scenario driven. I was thinking of perhaps more generic magic.

  3. Those fantasy figures were sold in the US by Toys R Us, which went out of business last year. I picked up a container on speculation. I've got a bunch of Accurates who a little short, but not ridiculous, with some Airfix and Marx Robin Hood recasts that I could mix with them. Something like this would be a pleasant little diversion.

  7. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Safari. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers herb sen route
