  1. Long trip for you. That's dedication (to coin a song by a son of Woking).

    Those winged hussars are superb.

    1. But we’ll worth it. The converter told me that other figures were much more difficult to do than the winged hussars who are everyone’s favourites.

  4. That looks a splendid day. I see their 'Portable Wargame' will be at the Salute show - I am hoping to go along, and will make sure to look out for it!

    1. The Guardsmen game had that wonderful toy soldier look and was enhanced by Mike’s terrific scenery.

  7. Looks like a great day Alan! I especially like those trees that allow figures in between! The ECW figures and terrain are amazing!

  8. Brad, thanks for your kind comments on the ECW game. I was aiming for the Battle of Brentford 1642. I based the game on a scenario from a very old issue of Military Modelling and Battle. Having since read a splendid book 'The Battle for London' I realised that the scenario was a bit abstract, but it suited the day.

  10. What a fantastic series of games. The 54 mm/1/32 figures always look most impressive.
