Manoeuvres in Ostmerk…

 Ostmerk infantry and machine gun units on manoeuvres supported by tankettes.

  1. I know this is all "toy soldiers" and scale doesn't matter.....but are the tankettes a similar scale to the infantry....they look very small! I am aware, some interwar vehicles were pretty small....so these could be more or less accurate?

    1. Figures are 30mm and the tankettes are 1/56 28mm so they might be a tad small. In reality tankettes we’re tottie in size.

    2. Yeah, the difference between 28mm and 30mm is splitting hairs really - so, the tankettes are pretty much in scale with the figures - crazy - the crews must have been double jointed to get into the bloody things!

  3. Liking those Tankettes. Some of these Interwar Tankettes really look this tight fit and tiny.

  4. Lovely little tanks but a tad cramped, me thinks. The use of flags on tanks looks great.

  9. If I stand next to it I can see over my car, most tankettes had two crew both seated. The Polish TKS was just 1.32 m high [4' 4" for oldies or Americans]
