They are certainly walking wounded but , in my opinion, are full of charm. A few new heads, arms (Dorset miniatures perhaps) and they will serve admirably. I thinking of Portable Wargame/ Square Brigadier game with toy soldiers of the time set in the interwar period. Possibly using armies in plastic too although I am uncertain of the old and new figures mixing, we shall see. A little wars look for the jazz age?
I can forsee some clipped paper clips and a dab of araldite bringing some of these chaps to attention.
ReplyDeleteMatchsticks and wood glue so far.
DeleteNice! Now you need a couple of Dinky "Medium Tanks".
ReplyDeleteI’m working on it. As a boy l loved playing with the Dinky interwar stuff my father had from his childhood. Sadly they got lost in a move years ago.
DeleteI used to work for this fellow. He has the rights from Britians Ltd. to mold replacement part for out-of-production figures. Worth a look for parts.
