Giving the Chinese artillery in 54mm

The Chinese figures came with no artillery. I decided to remedy this by firstly painting up a large old fashioned gun and secondly by scratch building from bits n bobs a jingall. The resultant jingall is a tad over sized but will serve on the battlefield. Here are photos of work in progress and also finished items.

  1. The jingall is a nice piece of DIY

  2. I had to Google Jingal - that one looks like it could make an elephant wince! A nice model, as is the cannon. They work very well with those lovely figures.

    1. I think they are all a most useful addition to my Chinese. I am half way through painting a second cannon and I might do another Jingal if I can find another mini kebab stick in the garage.
