In Yorkshire
Currently visiting friends in Skipton. I am enjoying catching up with them as well as getting out and about.
I went round the castle on a previous visit, it was most interesting. The visit was enhanced by some eighteenth century reenactors being present. Did know about the shop but I do recall a model soldier shop in York.
Beautiful (the Brontes! The Brontes!) and I’m glad you are having / had a breath of fresh (non stormforce) air. Have you been round the castle ? , Greenwood and Ball figures had a shop in Skipton in the 70's
