I took the advice given and sorted the figures out, taking the following photos-
Some Picts including my favourite figure of Pict with loin cloth and telegraph pole. Not part of the below army.Mounted Arabs and dismounted Arab bowmen?
Bowmen some of which were based as Lmi.
Li with cast spears replaced with wire.
Lmi Infantry , again with wire spears to replace cast ones.
Heavy/ medium infantry retaining cast spears.
The cavalry, with cast spears replaced with wire in some cases. Other cavalry with swords.
Light infantry archers.
So there we are sorted, photographed but what next…
Some lovely old figures here Alan. With a portable telegraph pole one is never out of touch in Pictland.

Interesting that the basing style is more modern than the figures. Suggests these have been refurbished at some point .
