Game

 Yesterday saw me at my regular opponent’s for part two of our latest Burgundian v Ordonnance French game which we started a week ago. Some highlights-

The Burgundians break through the village whilst French artillery and bowmen wait to stop the advance. The French failed miserably to stop anyone or anything and were cut down by the advancing Burgundians.

A melee between archers of both sides. Superior Burgundian training did not avail against the Franc Archers militia ( contemporary accounts of them dismissed them as fit only for killing chickens) who won the day and forced the Burgundians back.

The flower of French knights about to bounce off a Burgundian Flemish pike block. The gallant French failed miserably being attacked in the flank also by Burgundian skirmishers who hastened the knight’s demise.

A well earned Burgundian victory but my French will return another day…
