Who are you?
Got this figure as part of a lot recently-
Can anyone recognise him and the manufacturer?
Finally can anyone guess the first name of the girl mentioned in the previous post?
I'm sure the horse is Hinchliffe, see https://www.lancashiregames.com/lg/hinchliffe-miniatures/25mm-hinchliffe-medieval/25mm-medieval-horses/hin/mh7-heavy-horse-walking.html I'm wondering if the figure is a conversion - there's quite a mismatch between the proportions of the legs and from the waist up!
As Neil says, he's Attila (my mate had one in his Hun army back in the day). The horse is wrong though. That's a medieval horse. Hinchliffe made a couple of Hun ponies but Attila ought really to be on something bigger, like a Roman horse, I reckon.
Ooh... thanks for the heads up on the Nick Drake prom. I'd missed that this was happening and I'm a big ND fan. And yes, I'd go with Jane as the girl in the last post
Again, it's Attilla from Hinchcliffe. I have one mounted on a pony though mine has long been known as Chintila the Hun and still commands horsemen on my battlefields from time to time. Stephen

Great figure whoever he is.
ReplyDeleteThe girl's name was Agnes.
Is he the Merovingian King Dagobert (Le Bon Roi Dagobert)?
DeleteHorse is definitely Hinchliffe. On a hunch I searched for Attila the Hun.....

I did quite a few stints on reception at a covid vacination clinic. Possibly the strangest (to me) name I came across was a lad called Atilla.
DeleteNo idea about the figure but guessing the girl's name might have been (Hazey) Jane? 😀
