Old friend

 Consulted this old friend whilst painting yesterday-

  1. No cookery book could be considered good without obligatory splashes of oil and sauce on its pages (and perhaps a grain of rice stuck somewhere); so too, no good wargames painting guide will be short of some honourable paint spots..

    1. What a wonderful way of putting it Maudlin! The marks will be from when I painted my Hinchcliffe Muscovites ( long gone sadly) many , many moons ago.

  4. Good old 'Renaissance Armies': still got my copy that was a school prize in about 1978, and would not part with it!
