Roman garden at Chelsea
There was a terrific Roman garden at Chelsea-
A beautiful garden taking you through space and time in your imagination.
It was by the Newt in Somerset who have the Roman Villa and museum l have mentioned before-
Extraordinary what can be put together for just a few days festival / one week - Chester Zoo has / had an attractive Roman Garden planted up last time 8 visited going back a decade ago, likewise I think Birmingham Botanic Garden. There is a very good little (English Heritage?) book on Roman Gardens.
