Finished this unit of Ostmerk bicycle troops this afternoon. Figures by mls ,bikes by Warbases. I glued these bergens from the wave three deal onto some figures. They are nicknamed “Ostmerk schnelle Radfahrer” or the Fast cyclists. Hopefully giving the Ostmerk army extra clout in the games to come…

ReplyDeleteSuggestion: A little street junk, litter or simple barricade would break up the photo / felt edge line and make it an even more ‘realistic’ or believable background for toy soldiers.
Street litter?! This is the Ostmark. Alles ist in ordnung in the Ostmark. 😉

I fear MofT meant walls, street furniture etc, so fear not. Ostmerk is a clean, cake loving country with lots of song festivals and goatherds.

Precisely - I’m sure this is a good reason deploy the radfharers to quickly clear up the litter, round up the litter louts, bill stickers, posterers and loiterers (but beware the devious scatterers of tin tacks! )
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with cake wrappers or newspapers if put in the bin directly. Tin tack terror has made the radfahreres reach for a wee coffee and kuchen to revive them after such an awful thought.

These look great Alan and the bikes see, a good match for the figures in terms of scale/size....you will need to do some conversions to create mounted Schnelleradfahraren!
