Space warriors …

 I’ve been making a start on the Airfix space warriors- 

The green skinned lizard like aliens will form a squad with the black suited and cloaked figures. They will be opposed by the humans in greco- roman space gear.


I also looked online and in books for older space warriors-




I really like this space “ toy castle” looks full of play potentially.


Fascinating what was or is out there…

    I'll make a plug for Elastowit figures that include retro space figures, even including Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers and Barbarella, among others.

    Suitably Fabulously colourful and shiny - before all that grungy Star Wars stuff. There are some great space stations on Pinterest.
    I shall have to dig out my 1980s Britain’s Space Station to have a look at it again
    Good comedy pastiche film Galaxy Quest with Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver on tonight on Channel 4 and again on Saturday 16th where the cast of a fading sci fi show get abducted by desperate aliens who need their help defeating their enemies.

    At first I thought you had your own portable polar landscape in the tray with the Airfix Space Warriors in, then I realised it was just the tissue paper you had in there as packing. They are looking good though...

      They certainly would be. I have these rules( and accompanying army lists etc etc) but never quite worked out how they play…
