It’s Flats Jim but not as we know it.

I had a chance to buy some 28mm Wofun flats this week at a very reasonable price. They are Thirty Years War and arrived yesterday. I was delighted with them and their gaming potential. They came with bases removed but they were so simple to slot the figures back in. I have only had time to sort the cavalry so far. Here is a photo of the hoard and a parade of cavalry figures-

    1. I would recommend these twenty eights without hesitation. I haven’t seen the 18s in the flesh, plexiglass sorry, but they look great en masse on small tables. At the vwc yesterday we were shown someone’s Jacobite rebellion refight which looked terrific.

  3. The style is interesting. I've only bought the front-and-back ones so far. They are a touch fragile, I've found, and I will be using the paper figures instead with children, but the bright color and feel of the plexiglass ones will be my go-to at home for now.

  4. My 28s are really quite robust and would stand up to little figures using them I am sure. I have even dropped them upon wood flooring and they survived really well. Even the pikes have a solidity to them.
