The post lady brought these yesterday. They had travelled far to muster here-
Charming little boxes filled with new recruits, but who are they?Any guesses?
I looked them up. Are you planning a new army and its opponents? I'm still a bit suspicious of resin - how strong does it look to you, has it travelled safe? Stephen
I had no intention of starting this but have been interested in the army for some time. It will fight with or against my regular opponents Republican Romans. I know what you mean re resin , I am not sure either. The figures travelled very well indeed and have a feel and heft to them a little like Perry Plastic. I am a tad paranoid about dropping them but one fell and bounced on the wooden floors and was fine. They must have a certain robustness to travel all that way. I will be updating here as I tackle them… Alan Tradgardland
This will be interesting....I got a few resin figures from Fenryll in France several years ago, fantastic detail on them and although initially I had the same concerns, none have come to any harm thus far. Look forward to seeing you work through this new project!
They look a bit like late Roman infantry to me... :-)
ReplyDeleteCheers,
David.
Good guess but incorrect.
