Wee men

I was fortunate to be able to buy these painted and based Wiglaf figures ( 18mm ) at a very affordable and generous price from AM recently. They are beautiful sculpts enhanced by excellent painting and basing.

Dan Mersey’s site here is well worth a look-

  2. Congratulations, what a great addition to your collection, surely enough figures for a battle! Will you be using movement trays as that's a lot of single bases to move. I had no idea Wiglaf Minis existed, it would tempt me to do a DBA army though I'd worry how they'd fit with my existing 15mms.

    1. They are lovely figures , well worth considering. Eighteen mm rather than 15mm . Jury is still out in terms of rules and basing…

  4. They do look great, I like the idea behind Wiglaf , the figures are really nice, and a Saxon period campaign is on my 'maybe one day' list. But at the moment it's several projects too far... I look forward to seeing how these fight!

  5. They look great figures, and you've certainly acquired a good warband. The Age of Penda rules on the Wiglaf look intriguing. I might have to order them.

  6. I’ve seen Age of Penda played in 54mm at Woking recently. People were very impressed with it. I am tempted too.
