Basing matters and a sneak preview…
Been experimenting with basing options yesterday-
And also some figures arrived at lunchtime. Here is a sneak preview of some of them unpacked-
I like those rounded edged bases. Gives a more 'classic' look for larger figures. It looks like you would get 6 figures on the 50mm bases and 4 on the 40 mm bases. Have you tried blutacking them on to see what they look like in practice?
I like the rounded bases, may well use some of them myself,I usually use just the normal ones. Figures look really nice, good job done on them, you must be well pleased.
I've rounded the corners of bases for 15mm (30 x 30 for 3 or 4 infantry) but not to the same extent. I just cut off the very edge of the sharp corner and then rounded with some emery paper. I did it mainly because the corner of the base is usually the bit which can get damaged but I very much like the look.

Next project Bob can have rounded corners. I have used them before with 20mm Volare Cantare interwar stuff.

I vote for rounded corners too and do/have done exactly the same as Brian C above. The figures also look very nice indeed!
