Medieval football in 28mm

Finished the figures last night. I am pleased how they turned out.

The team from The Red Lion Inn , playing in red, having a kick about…
The team from The Green Man Inn , playing in green, standing having a team portrait painted.
Each team has three star players- a kicking expert ( denoted by bare foot on figure) a goal keeper ( in antiquated armour, helmet and leather gloves) plus a fast runner/ ball carrier ( denoted by running figure)
Hopefully l will have time to give the rules a try later today-
What l am listening to this morning-

  1. Excellent - those rules look 'old school' , so no 'VAR' then?!

    1. Dice and charts are used. I will say a little more when I play a game…

  4. These look superb. I trust there will be disruptions to playing grid (as in Victorian / Edwardian Farm on TV where their grassroots early football cow field playing space had molehills and cow pats and roving farm animals.

    1. Thanks. I hope to have the odd obstacle or two…
I think Somerset had/ has a cricket ground with a big tree on the field.
