Mark’s post this morning- https://manoftinblogtwo.wordpress.com/2023/12/23/toy-theatres-toy-soldiers-soldiers-model-railways-and-the-brontes/
made me pop to the bookshelves to look for this book. I thought it was by Tunstill but it was in fact by Teague. I thought you might enjoy seeing it anyway-
Really like the way of marking out rivers, always meant to try it…
Cool period specific baseboard ideas…
About the man himself-
Have a good day whatever you are doing. Finally a couple of fun pictures-The last one reminds me of the “Greying of the hobby” discussions which are ever with us..
Have a great Christmas Eve Alan - I do like the Greying of the Hobby image!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you and all your family. Here’s to another year of happy riffing of each other’s posts and projects!
ReplyDeleteThe Tunstill Shire book looks very similar to Teague and is reprinted by John’s Curry History Of Wargaming Project http://www.wargaming.co/recreation/details/ewvol5.htm
I like the greying of the hobby pic. At least we’re having fun! I suppose we are a bit like Tomtar. Preparing toys. Except we’re the lucky ones who get to play with them.
ReplyDeleteGod Jul/Hyvää Joulua!
