Music for the day ( follow the link ) and illustrations too.
Had an excellent Christmas Day with great food and folk but circumstances prevailed against opening more than one present ( time ) and the taxi home ( pre booked) never turned up. My sister in law who had hosted stepped into the breach and drove us home. A big thanks go to her !
On Christmas Eve , after Church and Prost coffee, en route to pick up the turkey l popped into Waterstones. I could resist these splendid wolves as a wee gift for the 54mm orcs-
They look pleased with their allies/pets and have welcomed them into their wintery home with promises of some food to come very soon…
The wolves are excellent - a joyful St Stephen's Day to you
ReplyDeleteThey couldn’t have been left , it was a case of how much was that wolfie in the bookshop…

Wargs. Just about the right size methinks. I like the restrained guitar sound on the song, as well as the rest of the musical instruments. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteWargs and faux minstrels , a winning combo !

Glad you had a folk and food filled Christmas. Fine wolves amid the snow forest.
ReplyDeleteStephen’s Day and the “Good King Wenceslas looked out / on the Feast Of Stephen” carol (insert own pizza jokes here) always reminds me of these 1973 Royal Mail Christmas stamps by David Gentleman that I remember on envelopes when a small child - I was fasc8nated that stamps could be collected to tell a picture story. Nice fake medievalism to them. https://www.collectgbstamps.co.uk/explore/issues/?issue=1

ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Mark. They are lovely stamps. I can imagine the fascination that they would have caused.
