Cambridge
I may find myself in Cambridge possibly. What would you recommend seeing. It would be my first visit…
Other than the Kings College Chapel, there are numerous museums including the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, The Polar Museum, The Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, Museum of Classical Archaeology, The Whipple Museum of the History of Science, and the University Museum of Zoology!
It’s years since I’ve been there, but I doubt that it has changed much.
Heffers bookshop (opposite Trinity College), the Corpus Clock, and the Copper Kettle cafe, plus G David bookshop (near the market square just up from the main university area). Enjoy the atmosphere... it is a wonderful place. Best rgds. Phil
Sorry I can't help as I have never visited Cambridge...perhaps you can give me some ideas in your next post, in case I ever get back to that neck of the woods....
