The Flashing Blades or Finished Roundheads fight their foes.

Despite the brittle plastic and arms coming off during drilling today I managed to finish the 60mm Cherilea Roundheads today. One has his original sword blade (fixed after breaking in three bits) two have stout wire as blades and the final figure has a blade of thin plastic. Here they are fencing with the cavaliers. Next make a set of rules...

  1. They look fantastic Tradgardmastare - there was an interesting set of semi-RPG rules for the 17th Century (3 Musketeers type game). I don't currently remember what it was called. I'll have to root about at home and come back to you!

  2. I vaguely remember there was a set of rules called the Flashing Blade or Flashing Blades. Which reminds me I’ve still got the boxed set to watch, if I can bear the voice dubbing. 😁

  3. A fine bunch and repairs. Good idea to have painted each individual different colours. Makes it easier to personalise the sword fights and skirmishes.

  4. Roundheads and cavaliers - I had the same figures when I was a wean - my favourite play toys - spurred a lifelong interest in the ECW.

    Rules - could try my simple swordplay - http://cavalierecw.blogspot.com/2018/08/simple-sword-play-rules.html.

    It doesn't allow for those armoured roundheads back & breast - if you like I could send you simple combat rules which allows for varying amounts of armoured protection

    1. Fascinating, you had these chaps in your youth. The offer re simple combat rules allowing for different amounts of armourmed protection is most kind and I would indeed like you to send them to me.
      Cheers
      Alan

  6. Mr LORENZO DIEGO LOAN FIRM FINANCE IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET A LOAN {mrlorenzodiegoloanfirm@outlook.com},
    God bless you sir, I will not stop telling the world about your kindness in my life, I am a single mum with kids to look after. My name is Emily Peterson and I am from Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL. A couple of weeks ago My friend visited me and along with our discussion she told me about MR LORENZO DIEGO LOAN FIRM FINANCE, that they can help me out of my financial situation, I never believed cause I have spent so much money on different loan lenders who did nothing other than running away with my money. I have been in a financial mess for the pass 7 months now, She advised I give it a try so I mailed him and explain all about my financial situation to him, he therefore took me through the loan process and gave me a loan of $390,000.00 at a very low interest rate of 2% and today I am a proud business owner and can now take good care of my kids, If you must contact any firm to get any amount of loan you need with a low interest rate of 2% and better repayment schedule, please contact MR LORENZO DIEGO LOAN FIRM FINANCE email:- {mrlorenzodiegoloanfirm@outlook.com}
